Features

Built for the minute after class.

Sesslynx does a few things and does them for both sides: record what happened, agree on it, keep the money straight, and keep each class talking in one place.

Statuses

Six ways a session can go.

Each status has a clear meaning for the balance. Each is shown with a word, never color alone.

Confirmation

Either side marks. The other side confirms.

When a coach or parent marks a session, the other side gets an in-app notice, a push and an email. They can confirm it or say something's off. If they do nothing for 48 hours, it auto-confirms. Until then, the charge shows as pending.

Step 1 · after class

Coach or parent marks the session

One tap, or swipe the ticket. Present, no-show, absent with notice, late cancel, coach cancelled or makeup.

Marked · waiting

Step 2 · the other side

Gets a notice to confirm

In the app, by push and by email. Until they answer, the charge shows as pending on both sides.

Please confirm

Confirm

Confirmed

It goes on the ledger and the balance updates for both sides.

Something's off

Disputed

Pick what actually happened and add a short note. The charge stays pending until you both agree.

No reply in 48 hours

Auto-confirmed

Silence counts as agreement, so nothing sits open forever.

A session is marked by either side, the other side is asked to confirm, and it then either goes on the ledger, stays pending while you settle a disagreement, or auto-confirms after 48 hours.

Reminders

Nudges that know when to stop.

Unmarked sessions get a short series of reminders. They are batched to one push per day, held during quiet hours from 9pm to 8am, and stop for both sides as soon as anyone marks.

  1. 011 hour afterA first nudge, while the session is fresh.
  2. 027pmAn evening reminder, if it is still unmarked.
  3. 03Next morningOne more, outside quiet hours.
  4. 04Daily digest, 2 daysOne batched message for everything still open.
  5. 05Then it stopsNo endless pings. The session shows in Needs attention.

Session reminders

Never miss a class again.

Pick when you want a push before each session: 10 minutes, an hour, the day before, or up to three of them. It goes to your phone, at the times you chose.

Coaches, per class

One default for every session you coach. Change it for an early-morning class, or turn it off for one you never forget.

Parents, per kid

Tennis the day before so the bag gets packed, piano an hour ahead. Each co-parent sets their own.

Only real sessions

No reminder for a cancelled session, one you've already said you'll miss, or a paused class.

Rate plans

Every kid can pay differently.

Set a rate plan for each kid in each class. Sesslynx applies it when a session is marked.

Money

From a mark to a settled balance.

One balance per kid per class, split into confirmed and pending. Families pay the way they already do and record it; the coach acknowledges it. Nobody's bank or card details touch Sesslynx.

Class chat

One running chat per class.

Running late, a court change, what to bring: it goes in the class chat, not a group text. Messages arrive live, the history stays with the class week after week, and an ended class keeps its history readable.

Notifications that know when to stay quiet

  • Reading it? No ping.

If the chat is open on your screen, new messages just appear.

  • Muted chats stay quiet

Mute any class chat from its bell. Unmute whenever you like.

  • Quick follow-ups don't buzz twice

A second message within 30 seconds arrives quietly.

  • Tap to open the chat

A notification opens that class's conversation, even from a cold start.

  • Unread counts you can trust

Each chat shows its unread count, and the app badge adds them up.

  • Report, or delete

Delete your own message, or report one to the coach. Coaches can remove any message.

Co-parents

Share the whole family.

The primary parent sends an invite link. The co-parent joins the family: the same kids, balances, statements and class chats, and the same notifications. Either of you can mark, confirm, dispute or record a payment.

Guided setup

Set up in the right order.

New coaches are walked through five steps, each ready for the next: nothing asks for a class before there is a rate plan to put on it. Skip ahead or come back to any step later.

  1. 1

    About you

Your name as families see it, what you teach, your time zone.

  2. 2

Late-cancel window and no-show rules, written down once.

  3. 3

    Rate plans

Per session, packs of lessons, or monthly. Reusable.

  4. 4

Add kids and send each family an invite link.

Everywhere you are

Web, phone, tablet and foldable.

The web desk and the apps share one account and behave the same, down to the wording.

  • Web desk

Week grid, roster, balances, bulk mark and statements in any browser.

  • iPhone

Mark from the court in a tap, chat and get notified.

  • iPad

Split views: today's list beside the session, chats beside the conversation.

  • Foldables and Android

Hinge-aware layouts keep controls off the fold. Same app on Android.

Privacy

As little about kids as we can.

We store a kid's first name and their sessions. In group classes, each parent sees only their own kid's row, and group chats never show other families' kids' names.

Put every session on the same page.

Coaches start free with up to 5 kids. Parents linked to a coach on Sesslynx are always free.
